Lois graduated Roosevelt High School, Minneapolis, and on January 22, 1949, married Lynn D. He was born March 5, 1954 to Elai & Bernice (Larson) Erickson in Devils Lake, N. 63 passed away October 14, 2017 at the Ray Hickey Hospice in Vancouver Washington after a short illness.He started his working career as a paperboy for the Billings Gazette, during his high school years he worked for the Cornwell Ranch, & after graduation he headed for California to make his new life.He worked for the Melby Law Firm hoping to make a career in the legal world.Not being his cup of tea, he headed north to Washington along with his sister, where he became a maintenance man for a chain of hotels throughout Washington and Oregon.
He came back to Glasgow for a brief time but made his way back to Washington, where he was working at the time of his death.
Family will receive friends at Bell Mortuary in Glasgow, Montana Friday October 20, 2017 from - p.m. (Lohman) Barrett age 90 passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Valley View Home in Glasgow, MT. He passed away from a fatal car accident on July 4, 1950. They lived on the Boreson farm in Tampico, west of Glasgow. They enjoyed visiting and celebrating with friends and neighbors through music, food and games. They lived on the farm until November of 1987 when they moved to Glasgow.
Bernice was born on June 28, 1927 in Marion, ND to Erma and Bennie Lohman as the oldest of 3 girls. Bernard was diagnosed with cancer; Bernice and the boys took care of the cows, chickens and farming. They enjoyed time with their family, playing cards and traveling the country together. Bernice belonged to the Valley County Cow Bells, VFW Auxiliary, Friends of the Pioneer Museum and the First Lutheran Church. Bernice was loyal to all those around her and enjoyed people, serving coffee or tea and cookies for anyone who came to visit.
He enjoyed tinkering with cars, he and his brother-in-law bought a gold mine, which took most of their weekends for many years.
Elai was active in scouts, played hockey, loved horseback riding and enjoyed the country. Elai was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, his only aunt and uncle, sister Rheta & brother-in-law Ferg.
Donna is survived by her brother, Jim Cotter of Watauga, TX; sister-in-law Margaret Jobe of Fort Worth, TX; her children Debra (Steve) Greenwood of Wolf Point, Kimberly (Tom) Taylor of Spokane, WA, Valorie (Shannon) Lasyone of Huntsville, TX and Robert (Sherri) Jones of Springfield, MO; grandchildren Travis (Jordan) Taylor, Chad Taylor, Mallory Taylor, Chase Taylor, Tanner Neumann, Chance Neumann-Severs, Ashley (Cory) Young, Amber (Billy ) Kennedy and 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
