Within the next six months (allowing for releases and upgrades to our base), you should see these messages drop to a trickle. I wonder, though, about the 10 million members thing.

“, and that’s what we’re going to demonstrate here.He moonlights as a technical author and consultant.A: Lync clients will randomly download the address book update; however, you can force the update by using the following process: 1.We quickly responded by adding opt-out and throttling features, but we’ve always known that the update requests were a means to an end — our goal has always been to get as many members as possible so that these e-mails were unnecessary. Due to this great growth, the depth of our network, plus our heartfelt desire to be good net citizens, we have started phasing out update requests. And it looks like we’re finally getting to that end. Since address book doesn't consider nickname as a name when sorting, contacts with no first/last name end up and the end of the address book as unnamed. I am 100% positive it does change address book entries as they almost immediately sync with my i Phone.

This hasn't happened before I set up i Cloud, but I am now not able to say wether it's the i Cloud or OS X 10.7.2 that changed this behaviour.

Once you have a self identifying contact card, you can easily set it for the i Phone.

Now your personal contact information is set to you on i Phone (and yes this works the same on i Pad and i Pod touch).
